I have just returned from a vigil Christmas mass. It was standing room only , and not much of that,( well none actually, sardines have more room, but don't tell the man with the clipboard that). The other masses tomorrow will be the same, they always are. Whatever the press might print on this matter, masses are usually well attended, sometimes very full, just ask the over worked priests.
It doesn't make good headlines , but it is GOOD NEWS. Jesus has been born. He has come to lead us out of the slough of despond with love, compassion , forgiveness and tolerance.
Hear his voice. Feel his love. Salvation is at hand.
