HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

To all . Tonight, for the first time in fifteen years myself and my better half are to venture out of the house for an hour or two on a new years eve. Back in about ten for a curry and see midnight in with the boys! Not really my thing in all honesty but I'll enjoy it anyway.

Some predictions!

* Football;
England to exit world cup early to France.
Sunderland to scrape to safety in relegation battle.
Newcastle to get promoted easily, and replace Chris Hughton with Mark Hughes.
Arsenal to win premier league title.

* Politics;
Hung parliament at general election. Record numbers of postal votes. Suspicious outcome.
Gordon Brown ousted as leader of Zanulabour. Alan Johnston to take over.
Rory Stewart, newly elected Con MP for Penrith, makes early impact. He will lead the party from about 2016

* Cricket;
England beat SA 2-0 in winter series. Best win abroad for forty years.
England beat Bangladesh, draw with Pakistan and travel to Aus where they win first test and start well in the
second. Liam Plunket being the latest Durham player to excell playing for England.
Durham win an astounding third CCC.

* World;
Governments around the world continue to ignore the threat of rampant wahadi islamism and contemplate their navels while chuntering on about climate change.
Britain hits the buffers and loses it's AAA credit ratings. Interest rates rise. Spending is slashed. Unions on the march.

Think that about covers it!

I wonder how long we will all be able to write this stuff without being observed, (oh and by the way, hello there you bloody creepy sod if you HAVE bumped into this innocent rubbish in the course of your observations), and how long before the means to avoid detection are perfected?

Just reading the press lately, and noticing their supine attitude towards Brown and co, not to mention our real masters, it makes you wonder; is the only real opposition out there on the net?

Always worth a visit to The Tap on matters of this kind, especially today's offering. We should none of us be asleep on this, but always assume the worst where politicians are oncerned.

Meanwhile back here, England are taking SA to the cleaners, although they may run out of time to force a win. But what a win it would be if they can do it!
